Hello

I’m Juliana Serrato, an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I help people navigate life's challenges by seeing the world through their frame of reference. With a solid academic background and professional experience, I foster a creative approach to therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients. In our sessions there are no forbidden topics, and I will draw from different therapeutic modalities to help you develop self-awareness and reflect on your thoughts, behaviours and feelings.

About me

I currently work as a Counsellor in the NHS Talking Therapies service in Greenwich, where I support clients with a range of mental health challenges. Before this, I worked in the Psychology team within NHS Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services, gaining valuable experience supporting both individuals and their carers. I’ve also spent several years with Mind UK, focusing on mental health support and advocacy. I’m LGBTQI+ friendly and committed to working in an inclusive way, always considering how factors like race, disability, and sexuality can impact people and their relationships. Alongside my NHS role, I also run a private practice.

My Approach

Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities such as psychodynamic, solution-focused, and person-centred approaches, I am able to tailor the way I work to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client, ensuring a holistic and supportive experience. My goal is to build a strong, trusting relationship and empower them to develop strategies that enhance their quality of life. I understand that every person's journey is unique, and I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
