Juliana Serrato

Hello

I’m Juliana Serrato, an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I help people navigate life's challenges by seeing the world through their frame of reference. As well as individual therapy I also offer relationship counselling to those willing to understand and overcome the challenges of sharing a life together. In our sessions there are no forbidden topics, and I will draw from different therapeutic modalities to help you develop self-awareness and reflect on thoughts, behaviours and feelings.

About me

As well as running a private practice, I currently work as a Counsellor in an NHS Talking Therapies service, supporting people with a range of mental health challenges. Before this, I worked in a Psychology team at an NHS Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Service, where I worked systemically with individuals and carers. I also spent several years with Mind UK, focusing on mental health support and advocacy. I’m LGBTQI+ friendly and committed to working in an inclusive way, always considering how factors like race, disability, and sexuality can impact people and their relationships.

My Approach

Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities such as psychodynamic, narrative, solution-focused, and person-centred approaches, I am able to tailor the way I work to meet your unique needs and preferences. My goal is to work collaboratively and build a strong, trusting relationship that can be empowering and motivating. I understand that every person's journey is unique, and I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore and reflect in an environment that is free of judgement.
