Hello
Hello, I’m Juliana Serrato, a dedicated integrative therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. With a solid academic background and extensive professional experience, I offer a compassionate and holistic approach to therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
About me
Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working in diverse settings, including the NHS Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services, where I supported individuals facing mental health challenges and learning disabilities, as well as their carers. I also spent two years with Mind UK, focusing on mental health support and advocacy. My time working in the London LGBTQI+ nightclub scene has provided me with a unique insight into the specific challenges faced by the LGBTQI+ community, particularly concerning identity issues. This varied experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and the importance of providing tailored support to each individual.
My Approach
Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, solution-focused, and person-centred approaches, I am able to tailor my therapy to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client, ensuring a holistic and supportive experience. My goal is to build a strong, trusting relationship with my clients, empowering them to develop strategies that enhance their quality of life. I understand that every person's journey is unique, and I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
